What I particularly noticed at Interzoo
Interzoo 2022 was my 19th Interzoo and also my best.
Since 1996 this was the first time that I was not there as an exhibitor so I was „ free “. Free to decide what do do, where to go and free to explore….Time to explore more news and the details.
The details make it. If you do not have time or nobody is explaining something carefully you will probably miss important details.
In my future newsletters I want to explore these special details also with other professionals and explain them: special quality details, special ingredient details, special production details, special details about the usage etc.
Because I was free to decide I also met many interesting people just in the aisles and so had a chance to discuss without a fixed plan. This opened extra doors.
I also met Torsten Toeller with his son walking around, Istvan Szetmar, general manager at AlphaVet Hungary with his daughter and also Bryan Sharples from the UK with his daughter.
It is very important to see the younger people in their 20ies taking over responsibility or start to think about a future in the pet business.
These challenging times need fresh ideas, new views, different experiences and mindsets. And fresh power. Combined with the knowledge and wisdom of their parents it will be a perfect cooperation and synthesis…
The general feeling this time was very positive and open. Many booths were established with a lot of passion, future orientation and power.
Especially the start up companies in hall 11 showed us that there is always a new way of thinking.
The activities and the welcoming atmosphere at the WZF – stand surprised me especially in a very positive way. This is a platform how we should meet at an exhibition like Interzoo.
A great example for others to follow…
My congratulations WZF!
